Register to attend UAB’s Metallurgical Engineering Trades Apprenticeship & Learning (METAL) Bootcamp!

UAB will be hosting a five-day Metal Casting Bootcamp in summer 2025 in the foundry at the Materials Processing and Applications Development (MPAD) facility.

The camp is free and is open to all, but the curriculum is geared toward people in the following categories:

• High school students who are interested in exploring careers in the metal-related industry
• College students (two-year and four-year)
• Other individuals or groups with an interest in metals
